Living with a disability can present some unique difficulties. For many people, the financial hurdles are among the toughest to overcome. Thankfully, there are myriad resources put in place to help those with a physical challenge get assistance with the financial side of their life. Below is a list of organizations and agencies providing help with easing the burdens of managing finances while living with a disability. For this piece, we’ll assume Medicaid and SSDI benefits are already known quantities.
On top of the resources listed below, many businesses offer discounts for people with a disability. It’s a good idea to ask what kinds of deals are available to those with a physical challenge.
